StingRay 3.0

StingRay has progressed significantly over recent years and the latest release offers users a number of new features and improvements, designed to enhance workflow integration and flexibility whilst making the process of large file transfer easier, quicker and more secure than ever before.

What's new in StingRay 3.0

There has been a significant change to StingRay with the introduction of a Workflow Management section.  This section includes:

• Job Tickets

• Workflow Forwarding

In addition there have been a number of changes to the external web interface branding allowing for greater customisation:

Job Tickets

The new Job Tickets section allows StingRay users to create completely customisable web forms. The forms can include free text, drop down menus, check boxes, dates and static text fields.

Fields are able to be set as optional or mandatory and there is also the option to hide the field from your external customer, meaning you can pre-fill details into the Job Ticket which your customer neither sees or has any control over.

Data captured within the form is converted into XML v.1.0 and the XML Job Ticket is the carried along with any files uploaded into your workflow.

Find out more about Job Tickets here. For information on how to create Job Tickets click here.

Workflow Forwarding

Whilst workflow (or Mailbox) Forwarding has been available in the StingRay for some time now, this feature is being expanded throughout version 3.0.

We have tested StingRay with a range of workflow technologies and we're pleased to say that it has integrated with all of the brands shown here.
